Electrical Engineer – Intermediate

Under the supervision of the Technical Director, Electricity and Instrumentation, the Engineer performs various tasks related to the design, supply, and deployment of testing equipment for the aerospace industry. As part of a multidisciplinary team, they participate in large-scale projects aimed at developing solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring the standardization and quality of processes and products.
Main responsibilities:

Analyze and translate test requirements and contractual technical requirements into technical specifications for the product to be developed and produced;

As part of the project team, prepare plans, specifications, and technical documents to meet the technical specifications established during preliminary design;

Ensure that project milestones are met and that deliverables are produced by the required dates (as specified in the review forms and project registry);

Act as the technical lead for the client and key suppliers regarding their area of expertise (instrumentation/electricity);

Prepare design requirements documents (DRD) for the manufacturing and installation of subcontracted work;

Perform other related tasks.
Your background and strengths:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, GPA, and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);

3 to 8 years of experience;

Signal acquisition (analog, digital, frequency, etc.);

Low voltage AC and DC electricity (equipment, distribution, protection, control, etc.), Instrumentation (temperature, pressure, speed, vibration, etc.);

Electrical equipment standards (CSA, UL, CE);
-
Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Electrical;
-
Proficiency in English due to the high volume of international clients.
