Would you like to put your passion to work and join our Mechanical Engineering team as a Mechanical Engineer?
Working under the supervision of the Director of Mechanical Engineering and as part of a multidisciplinary team (electrical, software, and project management), the Mechanical Engineer participates in the various phases of equipment design projects for testing purposes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare specifications based on client requirements.
- Develop mechanical operation diagrams (P&ID).
- Select hydraulic, pneumatic, aerodynamic, and acoustic components.
- Perform pressure loss calculations and preliminary structural calculations.
- Supervise mechanical design using 2D/3D CAD tools.
- Verify detailed drawings for production.
- Write and review installation, operation, and maintenance instructions.
- Support production, installation, and commissioning teams.
- Design and validate industrial machines and systems: Welded steel structures, Machine components (motors, shafts, bearings, cylinders, hardware, etc.), Selection of hydraulic components (pumps, valves, regulators, filters, flowmeters, heat exchangers, etc.).
- Risk analysis and machine safety.
- Geometric and functional tolerancing (GD&T).
- Problem-solving methodology (Root Cause Analysis).
Your background and strengths:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in machine design.
- Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Proficiency in English due to the large volume of international clients.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor/Vault and Siemens NX (an asset).

- Attention to detail and a rigorous approach to tasks.
- Creativity in finding simple solutions to complex problems.
- Awareness of budget and delivery timeline constraints.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
