Would you like to put your passion to good use and join our Production team as an Electrical Production Technician?

Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Production Supervisor, the employee performs a variety of tasks related to the production, verification and calibration of test equipment for the aerospace industry.

Your key responsibilities :

  • Assemble and wire various high-precision equipment according to drawings
  • Carry out work with precision and attention to detail
  • Seeks and finds original and alternative approaches to production problems
  • Ensures equipment is impeccably finished
  • Ensures that the workshop is clean and that tooling is in good condition for production work
  • Applies current procedures and quality standards Production technician
  • Respects budgets and schedules
  • May be called upon to verify the conformity of systems manufactured by the company and its suppliers.
  • May be called upon to verify and calibrate test equipment for the aeronautics industry.
  • May be called upon to initiate corrective and preventive actions, as well as non-conformance reports according to procedures in place.
  • May be called upon to participate in field installations and service contracts at customer sites.
  • May be called upon to supervise subcontractors in the workshop or during installations
  • May be called upon to take charge of the shipping and receiving department
  • May be called upon to participate in tenders

Your background and strengths:

  • DEP electrician, electromechanic, electronics, control or instrumentation
  • 1-2 years’ experience or graduating student with good recommendations
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Passionate about your field and eager to expand your technical knowledge and skills
  • Resourceful and able to produce work with minimum supervision
  • Conscientious, rigorous and sensitive to quality requirements
  • Able to withstand pressure and sensitive to delivery deadlines
  • Fluent French – Functional English

     

    The employee will be expected to provide his/her own personal tools and equipment (pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) for the usual production tasks. Other tools and equipment will be provided by the employer.
