THE PROJECT
CEL was chosen to design and supply a completely new engine certification program and R&D test center, including four state-of-the-art test facilities, one dynamometer, two propellers, and one core (gas generator) engine test cell. The requirement was to test the same engine type in three different ways. The turboprop and dynamometer test facility are comprised of a conference room, control room, electrical/services room, fuel farm and power generator housing, test cell area, and prep area.
