Would you like to put your passion to work and join our team as an IT Technician – Level 1?

In a stimulating work environment, you will support multidisciplinary engineering groups and other team members. Under the supervision of the network administrator, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge within a growing company.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for service incidents (IT, printing, and end-user connectivity) requiring on-site or phone assistance.
  • Perform basic (Level 1) to intermediate (Level 2) technical interventions, analyze root causes, and escalate services for all workstations, including network connectivity.
  • Onboard new users by setting up workstations and peripherals.
  • Create and document user procedures.
  • Repair or replace computer components on PCs or laptops.
  • Repair network outlets as needed.

Your background and strengths:

  • DEP/AEC/DEC in IT or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as an IT Technician.
  • Ability to assemble a computer from its components.
  • Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Office suite environments.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing hardware: custom-built PCs, Lenovo laptops, printers (Brother, Canon).
  • Passion for technology and a desire to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Spoken and written English and French proficiency: 8/10 (required due to international installations; remote support may be necessary).
  • Demonstrates autonomy and initiative.

Assets:

  • Knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk, Catia, Altair).
  • Familiarity with PDQ Deploy/Inventory software.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with networking: switches, Wi-Fi, VPN.
  • Familiarity with remote management tools: TeamViewer and Microsoft Teams.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra administration (user creation/deletion, profiles, login scripts).
