Would you like to put your passion to work and join our Finance and IT team as a Financial Controller?

Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the Controller will oversee the team in preparing the entire accounting cycle. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of monthly and annual financial statements. They will work closely with the project management department, providing them with the financial and accounting information necessary to manage their projects effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all operational functions related to accounting.
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Produce management analyses and reports.
  • Review cost reports and profitability analyses for each project and prepare financial reports.
  • Ensure proper accounting for multiple currencies.
  • Ensure compliance with international tax regulations and annual declarations for our foreign subsidiaries.
  • Assist in implementing control measures and monitoring rules and policies.
  • Actively participate in the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Contribute to the automation and development of the finance department.
  • Monitor and develop performance indicators (KPIs) and action plans to ensure the activity’s performance aligns with specifications.
  • Coordinate the annual audit process.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Your background and strengths:

  • Professional CPA designation.
  • Experience in an accounting firm (significant asset).
  • Strong initiative, dynamism, good judgment, and teamwork spirit.
  • Demonstrated leadership and autonomy.
  • Results-oriented and action-driven.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing and growing environment.
  • Bilingual (functional English). Knowledge of English is required due to the large volume of international clients.
